The Miners started the game well with the midfield trio of Sean High, Reece Fitzsimmons & Brad O-Pray dominating the middle of the park, Good work from Jake Conoley created a chance for Josh Shepherd shooting narrowly over the bar. Chances followed for Conoley & again Shepherd but the half ended with no goals. The second half began with Bransty on top with Dylan Hudson & Reece Lancaster pulling there strings, with 7 mins of the half gone Bransty went in front from a corner with Craig Sharpe heading in from close range. This kick started the Miners with Kieran Macleod & MOM Andrew Middleton causing the visitor problems from the flanks when after 55 mins The Miners got a deserved equaliser from a free kick 35 yards out from Middleton. The home side continued to press when in the 66th min good work from Shepherd found Middleton who finished to the goalkeepers right. Bransty then pushed forward with Josh Benson, Dean Williamson and skipper Ben Milburn giving very little away. For the visitors Keelan Powe and Ben Kelly worked hard, Miners keeper Tom Brown made 2 fine saves to secure a deserved first win of the season for the home side.
