Directions

From the south: From A595 take the turning into Whitehaven at the top of Inkerman Terrace at the traffice lights. Come down the hill past the Chase hotel on your Left until you come to another set of traffic lights next to the Esso garage.Turn Left into Coach Road and travel across the hatched area down a slight hill.Travel down passing the Church/school and a builders yard on your right You will see a sign for the Whitehaven Miners Welfare Club on a wall on the left hand side turn in and the club house is at the end of the road before Whitehaven RLFC.

From the North: On seeing the sign "Whitehaven" as you enter the town, keep yo the left lane of the traffic. This will take you past the the garage on your right. Keep going forward on this road which will give you panoramic views of the town on your right,you will come to a set of traffic lights. You need to be in the right hand lane which brings you down the hill and past the Chase Hotel on your left carry on until you come to another set of traffic lights next to the Esso garage.Turn Left into Coach Road and travel across the hatched area down a slight hill.Travel down passing the Church/school and a builders yard on your right You will see a sign for the Whitehaven Miners Welfare Club on a wall on the left hand side turn in and the club house is at the end of the road before Whitehaven RLFC.

Through the Town: on the A595, From the "Whitehaven" sign, take the the right hand lane for "Town Centre". Follow the Road down into town Passing Tesco's on your right and the Weatherspoons pub on your left, Follow the one way system. This will bring you pass the North Pub on a corner and the Ship pub both on your left hand side. Keep in the left hand lane passing the Police Station until coming to a set of traffic lights. Turn left this will take you passed the Civic Hall and then keeping to the left hand lane you will pass Morrisons on you right. Pass through the first set of traffic lights until you come to another set of lights. On approach to these you need to be in the right hand lane.Turn right into Coach Road and travel across the hatched area down a slight hill.Travel down passing the Church/school and a builders yard on your right You will see a sign for the Whitehaven Miners Welfare Club on a wall on the left hand side turn in and the club house is at the end of the road before Whitehaven RLFC.
